The starting point
Chaine is a peer-to-peer platform, built in Bubble, for renting, lending, buying, and selling high-end designer fashion. It lets women put their wardrobes to work — monetizing pieces they already own, cutting waste, and accessing premium fashion without the cost or commitment of buying outright.
A sleek interface carries the whole loop: browsing, secure transactions, and the logistics of getting a garment from one closet to another, so closet-sharing feels as much like a luxury experience as owning the piece would.
The gap was a market with no easy way to connect idle wardrobes and women who wanted access without ownership.
