The starting point
Pioneering Collective was running a membership organization on a pile of disconnected tools. Scheduling in one place, events in another, member communications somewhere else — nothing talking to anything.
For the internal team, that meant constant manual coordination and no clear oversight. For members, it meant confusion: no single place to go, no clear sense of where they were on their journey.
It wasn't a staffing problem. It was a fragmentation problem.

Where the work was actually breaking down?
The whole operation was scattered across tools that didn't connect, and everyone felt it:
